The investment, led by Invexor Venture Partners, will accelerate the development of a platform that enables large organizations to operate artificial intelligence agents with enterprise-grade standards for security, traceability, oversight, and compliance. Roma AI already works with more than 50 organizations across Latin America.

August 2026 — Roma AI announced the closing of a $1.2 million seed round, led by Invexor Venture Partners, to accelerate the development of an enterprise platform that enables companies to create, operate, and govern artificial intelligence agents integrated with the tools they already use. More than just another conversational assistant, the company aims to become the infrastructure from which enterprises manage their entire AI-powered operations.

A new challenge: governing agents, not just automating processes

Enterprise adoption of artificial intelligence is entering a new stage. After several years focused on conversational assistants and point solutions, organizations are beginning to deploy agents capable of executing complete processes from end to end.

As these agents move from experimental tools into day-to-day operations, a different challenge emerges: how to manage them securely, define what they can and cannot do, oversee their decisions, and ensure that every action is recorded and auditable.

For regulated industries such as banking, insurance, healthcare, retail, and telecommunications, AI adoption depends as much on technological capabilities as it does on the trust that technology can generate. Companies need to define business rules, restrict actions, maintain human oversight, and retain complete evidence of everything that has occurred. Roma AI was built with this vision in mind.

A platform to operate the entire organization with AI

Roma AI’s platform was designed from the ground up with governance at its core, incorporating traceability, business rules, auditing, and continuous monitoring.

It enables organizations to deploy specialized agents for customer service, sales, after-sales support, collections, internal support, human resources, and other corporate processes. Each organization can define permissions, levels of autonomy, approval workflows, and oversight mechanisms, while every conversation and action is recorded to support audits, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Integration with existing systems. Roma AI integrates with CRMs, ERPs, calendars, payment platforms, catalogs, and proprietary systems through APIs. This enables organizations to introduce artificial intelligence without replacing their existing technology infrastructure, while maintaining operational control within the organization.

Technology validated in production

The company enters this funding round with demonstrated traction. Roma AI currently works with more than 50 organizations across Latin America and processes more than 500,000 messages per month.

Its customers include Caja Los Andes, BK Servicios Financieros, Crediautos, BICE Vida, Consorcio, and Falabella, with use cases spanning sales processes, customer service, lending, insurance, collections, and internal operations.

Invexor Venture Partners’ investment thesis

Invexor Venture Partners led the round with the goal of supporting the company’s growth and accelerating the development of a platform focused on the enterprise operation of artificial intelligence agents.

“Artificial intelligence is a tool that may seem easy to acquire, but implementing it effectively in companies with complex processes and multiple stakeholders represents an enormous challenge. With Roma AI, organizations can easily build powerful solutions with high standards of security, traceability, and scalability.”

Jorge Rodríguez, CEO of Invexor Venture Partners

The company’s vision

“We believe that within a few years, companies will manage entire teams of artificial intelligence agents in much the same way they manage users, applications, or business processes today. Our goal is to provide the platform that makes this possible in a secure, transparent, and scalable way.”

Richard Barbera, CEO and Founder of Roma AI

What’s next for Roma AI

The proceeds from this round will be used to strengthen the engineering team, develop new governance and security capabilities for artificial intelligence agents, and expand the company’s commercial presence across Latin America.
